Eva Menz is an internationally renowned sculptress and illumination artist, Munich born and London-based. Her studio mainly focuses on suspension-based installation work.

Her sculptures occupy the location where traditionally a chandelier would be placed, engaging with the focal point in a space. Each of her pieces are conceptualised individually, created for a specific location, one by one, responding to the context and emotional requirements in a particular environment. 

Menz is interested in positively interrupting spatial voids, changing and altering the journey a viewer takes through a space. Her latest works include incorporating slow motion via micro automation, continuously changing the position of carefully crafted, suspended elements.

Her small studio is situated in Notting Hill, London. The studio benefits from an ever-expanding network of workshops and experts. Incredibly skilled artisans continually support and enable the quest to create innovative, challenging and gravity-defying pieces.
