Studio
The London-based studio is a small design capsule led by Eva Menz. For almost 2 decades Menz studied, taught art and design, and has travelled and formed bonds with suppliers and experts, ever exploring new aspects of creation. The studio’s work thrives from this extensive global network of workshops, artisans and spatial creators commissioning the work one by one.
Creating such complex sculptures involves coordinating a wide range of talented artisans, makers and technicians. Each piece take an average of 3 to 8 months to conceive, construct and install. The focus of each sculpture is the unique narrative, material exploration and specific placement to suit its space.
LOCATIONS
Some of the locations Menz’s work has been installed include: New York, Paris, Bali, Hong Kong, Nairobi, Cape Town, Oman, Algeria, Riga, Latvia, San Francisco, Galway, Ireland, Reno, Nevada, Shanghai, Cologne, Monaco, Beirut, Miami, Merida, Mexico, Los Angeles, etc – and of course the studio’s native London.
