MORNING DEW

This sculpture occupies a colossal 22 metres of staircase in volume, engineered entirely from string and thousands of crystal pieces. The light sources purposefully operate in a theatrical manner, turning this simple structure into an endless play of light and shadow.

The phenomenon of morning dew is one of natures’ miracles. The inspiration for this piece comes from the ethereal beauty of droplets of water covering surfaces and structures, sometimes as fine as that of a spider web.
