Northern Star

This large oversized compass is made of 40 000 individual crystal beads installed on a superyacht. The fully functioning compass and needle has the added option to light up and navigate in the dark.

Following the northern star and keeping orientation, the compass shows off a mesmerizing display of sparkle, and light reflections and refractions.

Not without its challenges, all of its parts had to pass the vessel’s sea trials.
